If you have a pet and you have not heard of the Furminator, I'm here to help. You need this. It does just what the site claims. (If your pet is a cat, be sure you get the little purple Furminator.)
And be sure that the first time you use one of these things, you use it somewhere that's easy to clean up, because hoo boy does the fur fly. I had to vacuum and then put all my clothes in the wash. And my cats actually look skinnier.
